Control operations at the Free Fair

This morning environmental authorities conducted an operation control in the field of Free Fair, where plants and animals were seized.

Authorities withdrew 371 orchids and other plants intended to sell in the sector. These plants are native species of the moors and their sale is illegal.

In the place it was also seized a parakeet that was used to get letters of "luck" by its owner.

The bird had cut the feathers of the wings. The technicians explained that the parrot will not fly.

Residents of the sector expressed their discomfort because at the Free Fair animals sold without any kind of control.
