Adults looking for an option to graduate from highschool

South Basin school district is one of the venues enrollment for the program of intensive high school.

Yesterday the offices of the Ministry of Education in Cuenca Southern District sported filled with expectation adults seeking a place in the intensive school program promoted by the national government.


One is Maria Fernanda Lalangui, who three years ago abandoned his studies to become pregnant. "Now that my son is little older and want to recover the time lost studies," he said.

Registration for the process began yesterday and will run until August 24. The requirements are to have between 20 and 29 years be three years or more outside the educational system and present the identity card, the Zonal Coordination of Education reported.

Entries can be made personally or through a family member in the school districts and the mobile brigades arranged by the Ministry of Education in places far from the city center.

The program is free of charge and will allow students to earn a bachelor's degree in 15 months. The Ministry will be in charge of teaching materials and nonuniform needed.

The study days are Monday through Friday from 18:00 to 22:00 hours which is compatible with the working hours of students who have a fixed work schedule. Classes begin next month. (JPM) (I)
